Mia Riddle

Her name is only the beginning of the story. Born a Riddle, Mia has been given the dubious gift of mystery, her name hinting at untold secrets before you even meet her. With a name like that, are you born for espionage, for a life lived underground? The actual, rather goofy girl behind the name will disagree. She isn't jumping from moving trains or coding messages out of newspaper clippings, but weaves the mystery deeply in to the fabric of her songs. Both veiled and exposed by turns, she spins intricate tales that listeners find strangely personal, as though she was reading your diary back to you. It's an eerie kind of magic.

Like a six-person pinky swear, the band recorded their new album in a farmhouse studio in rural New York, standing in a circle and playing the songs in an honest and straightforward way they could.
Mia and her band have six UK and two US tours under their belts, and keep an active performance schedule in New York and Brooklyn. They have received regular college and BBC radio airplay throughout the globe.
